LOOKING FOR A DESIGNER / FEES
Our fee is 20% across all salaries for fulltime placements in the UK and 25% for overseas placements.
Our fee for the introduction of Senior Executives across all salaries in the UK is 25% and 30% for overseas placements.
Our fee for placing freelance designers is based on a percentage of the designer’s fee over a period of one year.
Smith & Pye will introduce you to the right designer for your business. We offer effective reach, flexibility and efficiency. Our database is made up of the best fashion designers working in the world today and we are the first port of call for the most famous brands in the industry.
We recruit for all disciplines of fashion design including: womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, knitwear, footwear, etc. as well as related areas: homeware, textiles, accessories, etc. Within these groups we cover all specialist areas such as tailoring, casualwear, lingerie, denim, etc.
Our database, compiled since 1992, is defined by the fact that we accept only 10% of all applicants to Smith & Pye, resulting in a high concentration of talented candidates.
We offer a bespoke service, taking responsibility for the entire recruitment process from initial interview to salary negotiation. On receipt of your written or verbal brief, we will send you CVs within 48 hours. We aim to send between 3-6 CVs in the first instance. The candidates sent to you will have been carefully selected with strict adherence to your brief with the intention of minimising your workload and interview schedule.
Our custom-built database contains a detailed assessment of each designer based on design ability, career record, personality and portfolio presentation and also carries examples of portfolio work. It is rigourously maintained which means that we are in close contact with the best designers in the market.
