LOOKING FOR A JOB

Smith & Pye specialises in the introduction of experienced fashion designers to blue-chip companies worldwide, from Gucci to Gap.

Successful applicants registering with Smith & Pye will be asked to attend an initial interview in which we look at your portfolio and discuss your current position. At this meeting we aim to assess your aptitude and establish your personal aspirations with regard to your career. We will give advice on portfolio presentation where necessary, and also suitability to specific job markets.

Please make sure that your portfolio is up-to-date when you attend a meeting at Smith & Pye.

Once registered, we will ensure that you are kept informed of potential opportunities in the job market. We aim to set up long term relationships with our candidates and take a close interest in the progression of careers. Over the years we have frequently placed designers in their first, second and third jobs and established strong friendships.

It is important that we maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of your career from the day that we first meet. Please make sure that you keep us informed of any career or contact detail changes at regular intervals. We can then represent you more effectively when you are looking for a new position.
